Mario’s Tint Shop Story
With more than 25 years in the car accessories industry, my love for automotive window tinting really kicked off in the mid-2000s. During that time, my oldest brother ran a successful car and truck accessory shop where I was the main guy in charge of 12v installations. While working there, I noticed how well car window tinting was doing business-wise. We used to hire mobile tinters who would come in and finish the job in just a few hours.
Seeing how quickly these tinters could complete a car and then move on to the next job made me interested in learning how to do it myself. So, with my brother’s help, we bought a roll of automotive tint film and started learning how to cut and install it by hand. We even practiced on our family and friends’ cars for free.
As with any new skill, it wasn’t easy at first. I would spend hours tinting a single window and almost an entire day for a whole car. Back in the early 2000s, there weren’t many how-to videos on window tinting on YouTube. But with my background in arts and my experience with car audio, I started to get better and better at tint installations. Soon enough, my brother began booking me to install automotive tint for his customers.
After several years of doing this for my brother, I decided to start my own mobile car audio and window tinting business in March 2014. Not long after, I realized that window tinting was really what I loved, and audio installation was just a hobby from my teenage years.
Now, I offer the best window tinting products on the market, like our top brand, XPEL PRIME. We’re even a certified dealer for XPEL Paint Protection, offering a full range of their products. We make sure we only offer the best to all of our customers, whether they’re driving an Altima or a Ferrari, they get the same great service and attention.
